Exit motorway A5 at junction 44 Karlsruhe-Durlach direction „Stadtmitte“. Follow the road signs to Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT Campus Süd).
Access to the Campus only on notice in advance! Please contact us in due time. However, there is only limited parking space at Otto-Ammann-Platz.

Arrival by train
Leave Karlsruhe central station through the main entrance towards the city. In front of the building there is a tram station. Take one of the tram lines 2, S4 or S41 to the station Durlacher Tor. The lines 2, S4 and S41 start to the right, if you face the opposite of the railway station. You need a ticket for 2 zones. Get off at the station Durlacher Tor (trip takes about 10 minutes).
You will find the Institute of Mechanics (building 10.30) near to the station Durlacher Tor.
